OUR PROGRAMME
  1. To convert ‘Jagurti’ into a full fledged model vocational training centre.
  2. To open model rehabilitation centres both in urban and rural areas.
  3. To organize and hold seminars and workshops.
  4. To encourage research activities.
  5. To strengthen and support the welfare programme of families having persons with mental retardation, autism etc.
  6. To extend (provide) intensive trainings to the Parents of the M.R. Children/Persons to tackle their problems at homes.

IMMEDIATE TASKS AHEAD
A. Establishment of an Agricultural based
Rehabilitation Centre in Rural Areas
It is estimated that Five crores of Rupees Will be required to make the project self sufficient and viable within a period of ten years. The Cost of the project will cover the purchase price of land measuring 5 to 7 acres in one compact area, construction of buildings for school, hostels, boundary walls, cowsheds, Poultry sheds, Digging of a large tank over 1 acre of land for Pishy culture, Plantation of 2000 coconut trees, 5000 bananas, 5000 teakwood etc, besides maintenance of 40 to 50 M.R. Children/Persons with 10 (ten) supporting staff.
 
B. Establishment of a Vocational Training-Cum-Rehabilitation Centre at Bhubaneswar.
It is also estimated that an amount of Rs200,00,000/-(Tow Crores) will be required to make the project self sufficient during a period of seven years.

The cost of the project includes house rent for hostel, training centre, purchase of vocational equipments/materials link Ronio Machine, Type Machines, Xerox Machines, Sewing Machines, Washing Machines, Fax Machines est., Mini Bus and salaries to staff. This centre will provide intensive vocational training to the M.R. Children/Person. The main objectives of this project are to provide suitable jobs to the able M.R. Trainees, besides keeping some suitable M.R. Children/Persons for the whole life time.
 
C. Scheme for keeping M.R. Child/Person for the whole life
After careful consideration, it has been decided to introduce the following scheme:
i) That the Trust will take the responsibility of keeping a M.R. Child/Person for whole life provided a sum of Rs.8 lakhs is deposited with the Trust in advance.

Withdrawal:- In case any parent/guardian like to withdraw his or her child/ward form the above scheme, they could do so by giving 3 months’ notice to the Managing Trustee and in such cases, an amount of Rs.45, 000/- will be deducted from the deposit of Rs.8 lakhs to wards maintenance cost of the scheme, and the balance amount will be refunded after completion of full one year from the date admission of the incumbent.

ii) Keeping M.R. Child/Person for a fixed period of time:
It has also been decided to keep such a M.R. Child/person for a fixed period provided a sum of Rs.4,500/- per month is paid towards cost of maintenance, transport, tution fees etc. and the total amount for the entire period of stay of the M.R. Child should be paid in advance and no refund will be permitted in these cases.
 
D. Provision for Day Care Centre:- It is found from experience that a sum of Rs.500/- per month is required for each M.R. Child to undergo extensive vocational training. The management of the Trust will appreciate if the tution fees of Rs.500/- per month can be paid/deposited in advance for one year, in that case a rebate of Rs.500/- may be allowed.

E. Adoption/sponsorship of M.R. Child/Person:- The management of the Trust appeals to all the benevolent persons/institutions of the world to come forward with their helping hands to serve a noble cause like this by way of sponsoring/adopting a poor M.R. Child /Person, who are unable to avail the above opportunities (facilities) due to their precarious financial positions.

F. Powers and functions of the Managing Trustee of the Trust:- The Managing Trustee on behalf of the management of this Trust Will operate as the Chief Executive, so far the above projects/schemes are concerned, and his decision in case of any dispute will be treated as final and binding on all concerned.
The management of this Trust reserves the right to accept or reject any application for admission to the Institution, run by the Trust without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
